The Luggage Shop is now located in the Lakeridge Commons Shopping Center at 4505 98th Street, Suite 110, on the southwest corner area of 98th and Quaker.  We are located between American State Bank and Campus Design.  Van and Tiffany Zarfas Williams, owners, continue the long and rich history of a Zarfas luggage and gift store in Lubbock.

The Luggage Shop is the latest of a long history of luggage and gift stores in Lubbock owned by a member of the Zarfas family.  Tiffany Zarfas Williams is the granddaughter of Rudolph Zarfas, who opened The Luggage Shop in downtown Lubbock in 1951.  As Lubbock has grown and retail has moved to other parts of the city, so has the Zarfas store.  It was later owned by Tiffany's father, Donald Zarfas and became Zarfas Luggage and Gifts.  The store moved from downtown to Monterrey Shopping Center to the South Plains Mall to Kingsgate Shopping Center and now to our new location at Lakeridge Commons Shopping Center.  As so many things change, some remain constant.  As new owners, it is our desire to continue this family tradition by meeting the travel, office and gift needs of the Lubbock community.  We also believe in Lubbock and look forward to continuing this great relationship with the people of Lubbock.  Tiffany grew up in Lubbock, a Lubbock Monterrey High School graduate and a Texas Tech graduate.  Van Williams is the newcomer to this family's retail history.  He was raised nearby in Midland and is also a graduate of Texas Tech University.  Van and Tiffany have two daughters, Madeline and Abigail, who share in the excitement of this retail adventure.
